Itinerary:
1. Merdeka Square
Merdeka Square is a focal point for Jakarta, which has many government buildings such as the ministry office, the presidential office, and even the landmark of Jakarta (National Monument).
2. National Monument
This is Jakarta’s landmark, a monument with a height of 134 meters. The design at the top of the monument looks like a flame. This monument became a symbol of the spirit of the Indonesian people against colonialism.
3. Istiqlal Mosque
The splendid mosque is the largest in Southeast Asia. In front of the mosque stands a beautiful Catholic Cathedral with European neo-gothic architecture. Therefore, these two buildings become symbols of unity in diversity
4. Old Town Batavia
This area was once the center of the Dutch colonial government. It has a canal and buildings influenced by Dutch architecture; therefore, it is known as Little Amsterdam
5. Dharma Bhakti Temple
The Confucian Community’s Dharma Bhakti Temple is the oldest Confucian temple in Jakarta city. It is still active and has become a center of worship, religious ceremonies, and Chinese traditions.
6. Old Town Batavia
This area was once the center of the Dutch colonial government. It has a canal and buildings influenced by Dutch architecture; therefore, it is known as Little Amsterdam.
7. Fatahillah Museum
This building was once the Dutch governor’s office. You will find various relics from the Dutch colonial era inside the museum. There is also a dark and narrow underground prison for Indonesian warriors.
8. Mangga Besar Street
Heading to Explore Mangga Besar Street, famous for nightlife, and looking for street food in Jakarta. You can see cobra satay sellers and king of fruit “durian” sellers along the way. We also provide to taste of ‘Martabak’ as an Indonesian dessert.
9. Sunda Kelapa Harbor
Sunda Kelapa Harbor was the center of trade on Java Island long ago. This port is still operating for domestic shipping, with Pinisi (traditional wooden boats) lined up neatly on the port.
10. Pantai Indah Kapuk
PIK has become a culinary, shopping, and Chinese Indonesian spot to explore outdoor activities. Despite being a bustling neighborhood, it maintains a connection to the coast. Offering a balance between city life and a serene coastal environment.
