Day Trip to Bogor – Hidden Waterfall, Local Village & Botanical Garden
Highlights
Drive to the countryside of Jakarta, and stop in several places where you can see incredible views of rice fields, villages, and nature. Stop in several villages and see the original life of the community such as: planting rice, caring for pets, and women who cook in traditional kitchens.
First, we will go to the first hidden waterfall spot. You will need to walk uphill some stairs and pathways to discover this beautiful waterfall in the middle of a tropical rainforest. Here you are able to swim in freshwater from the mountain. If you are interested, you can continue the journey to the second hidden waterfall spot, here you have to swim in order to see the waterfall. During the climb, you will see many incredible tropical rainforest views.
Built-in 1817 by Prof. G. Reinward on 200 hectares area, the known Botanical Garden for tropical plants in the world amazes you with more than 15.000 plant species. In the middle of the botanical garden, there is a beautiful presidential palace.
Exploring one of the oldest streets in Bogor, becoming a culinary center in Bogor with a variety of delicious local snacks and food.
