1. Start Point

We will start the journey from Jakarta. We recommend that you arrive in Jakarta 1-2 days before the scheduled departure, avoiding delays or unexpected disturbances during your flight to Indonesia. We will provide pick-up service from Jakarta airport to the hotel.

First day of the tour will focus on preparation before the trip, at night our representatives and group leaders will hold a meeting with you and the group, to introduce and notify all information and specific aspects of the trip.

If you arrive late and cannot be present at the meeting, our representative will leave a message to the hotel and if you are still unsure and confused, please contact the emergency call, our representative will immediately assist you.

2. Trip Type

This trip has a low level of difficulty, which means it is suitable for ideal fitness.

3. Dress code

There are no specific rules for dressing. It’s just that Indonesia is a country with the most Muslim population in the world. The thing you should know is that this trip visits several holy places, which have rules for wearing trousers, especially for women.

We strongly recommend you to leave your valuable jewelry at home – you won’t need it while travelling. Wear a money belt while travelling, for the safekeeping of your documents, cash, and other valuable items.

6. Meals

We will provide Indonesian food, local dishes and home cooking because we want to introduce local food in Indonesia. Hopefully this will be a new and exciting experience for you.

For participants who are vegetarian / vegan or have allergies to certain foods, please notify us when the reservation process.

7. Accommodations

Standard Hotels with twin bed (15 Nights) & Homestay in local village (3 Night).

For single travelers, we will provide shared rooms with other single travelers (same gender) with the approval of each traveler. If at the end of the reservation there is no partner for you, travelers must pay the additional price for the own room.

‘Own Room’ is an additional price for a single traveler would prefer to have your own private room throughout your trip.

8. Tour Staff

Group Leader: Group leader is a local person who is an expert about the trip you will do. Group leader will be with the group from the beginning to the end of the trip. They have the responsibility to make this trip runs well, so if something happens unexpectedly the group leader will find a solution for this trip. Group leaders will help you manage all your needs such as sharing hotel rooms, restaurants, transport, optional tours and all things related to this trip. The group leader will also guide you to get to know the culture, local communities, and all things about Indonesia in general. Anything you need, group leader will always try to provide it.

Local guide: a person who is in a tourist attraction / particular city that will explain specific information about tourist attractions that are being visited. They will be with the group only when in the tourist attraction / certain city.

Local driver: a person carrying a private vans vehicle will take you to certain tourist attractions and cities.

9. Tipping (Price is exclude tipping for staff)

Tipping isn’t required but is sometimes expected in tourism especially for those who take care of you and have assisted you on your trip. You can communicate with the group leader about tipping for local guides & drivers. The amount of tipping is relative, depending on their services to make you satisfied, normally US$ 2-3 /person/day for local guides & drivers and US$ 25-30 /person/week for Group Leaders.

12. Personal Expenses

List of your personal Expenses: Laundry, Optional Tour & Activity, Mini Bar, Additional food and drinks in Restaurant, Shopping.

13. Local Currency & Emergency Fund

Currency in Indonesia is rupiah. Almost all transactions in Indonesia use rupiah, so we recommend that you exchange money first before traveling. You can ask for help from the group leader to exchange money before and during the trip. We recommend that you bring a maximum of USD500 (in rupiah) for emergency cash. If you want to make a transaction/purchase it is better to use a credit/debit card, use your cash only when the transaction cannot be paid using a card.

14. Itinerary Change

While it is our intention to adhere to the route described below, there is a certain amount of flexibility built into the itinerary and on occasion, it should be necessary to make alterations. Sometimes there is an unpredictable situation on this trip. If there is a force-majeure occurs, we will do our best to find a solution and alternative program/route.

Additionally, any travel times listed are approximations only and subject to vary due to local circumstances.

15. Strict rules

We will not tolerate at all :

  • If there are participants who use/carry/distribute/sell illegal drugs of any kind, including marijuana and opium which may be acceptable in some countries.
  • If there are participants who use prostitution services while still joining the group.
  • Not allowed to drink excessive alcohol while on the trip.

Group leader has the right to expel any participant of the group if drugs are found in their possession or if they use prostitutes or if they are drunk.

16. Indonesia Visa Requirements

Travelers that are planning to visit Indonesia for Holiday may choose one of these visas:

   a) Visa on Arrival (VOA): Foreigners can apply for a visa upon arrival in Indonesia if the nationality included on visa on arrival countries list. (South Africa, Algeria, USA, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, The Netherlands, Brazil, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, UAE, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, Hungary, India, UK, Iran, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Germany, Cambodia, Canada, South Korea, Kuwait, Laos, Latvia, Libya, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Maladewa, Malta, Mexico, Egypt, Monaco, Norway, Oman, Panama, France, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, China, Romania, Russia, New Zealand, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Surinam, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Timor Leste, Tunisia, Greece).

   b) A holder of Visit Visa on Arrival is given 30 days stay and can be extended in Immigration Office for 1 (one) time, to have another 30 days stay.

   c) Visa on Arrival is available at Jakarta (Soekarno-Hatta Airport), Bali (Ngurah Rai Aiport), Medan (Kualanamu Airport) and Surabaya (Juanda Airport). All travelers to Indonesia must be in possession of passport valid for at least six months from date of arrival and have proof (tickets) of onward or return passage.

   d) The official price for Visa on arrival is USD 35 and could be made by all major currencies (cash or credit card).

   e) Travelers from the country that not listed above must have their visa arranged in advance through in Indonesian Embassy or Consulates.

17. Medical Requirements

There are no specific rules regarding your health, but we strongly recommend that you consult a doctor before traveling. We recommend that you carry a First Aid kit, personal medicines, hand sanitizers, and antibacterial wipes.

18. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is compulsory in order to participate in any of our trips. Group leader will check your insurance letter during a meeting before departure. If you cannot show your travel insurance letter, the group leader will not allow you to join this trip. All participants must have medical coverage and that we require a minimum coverage of USD 100,000 for repatriation and emergency rescue. We strongly recommend that the policy also covers personal liability, cancellation, loss of luggage and personal effects.

19. Emergency Contact
